Last week Tim and I had the opportunity to visit Boston for a work/play trip and it was awesome! It was a first for both of us, so we had a pretty ambitious list of things we wanted to see and do while we were in “Beantown”. It felt like we walked about 47 miles in just a few days, but by the time we left, we had accomplished everything on the list and then some!
There are so many things going on in the world and in our everyday life, good and bad, that we can’t control. I tell clients, friends, etc. all the time-often you have zero control over the outcome of a situation, but you have 100% control over your preparations for it. So I choose to control what I can, having an attitude of gratitude-and let go of what I have no control over.
