TOTTENHAM winger Lucas Moura has been rewarded for his goalscoring exploits in August by being named as the Premier League’s Player of the Month.
Watford boss Javi Gracia picked up the Manager of the Month trophy after guiding the Hornets to three consecutive wins, before adding a fourth last weekend to welcome in September.

Moura – a January signing from Paris Saint-Germain – failed to hit the heights in the top-flight last season, but has been Spurs’ key man this campaign.
The 26-year-old opened his account with a fantastic curling strike in the 3-1 win against Fulham at Wembley.
That was before his double helped Tottenham stun Manchester United with a 3-0 win at Old Trafford.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side won their opening three Premier League games before they succumbed to a 2-1 defeat against Watford at Vicarage Road on Sunday.

Gracia – who saw his side beat Brighton, Burnley and Crystal Palace in August – heaped praise on his side as he was awarded his prize at training.
After a quick change of clothes having been soaked by his squad, the 48-year-old said: “We are a good family.
“It’s important not to look at the end of the road, but to enjoy the journey as well.”
He added: “I am very pleased. This award is a consequence of results in games we have played and that comes from the work of everyone here.
